ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- During the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, Balloon Fiesta Park is packed to the brim with thousands of people. Even for a careful family, it’s possible to lose sight of a loved one.

That’s why New Mexico State Police officers are offering "Tag Your Tots." Families can give their contact information, and kids or loved ones with special needs, including Alzheimer’s or dementia, get a tag. If they’re separated, NMSP can match up the tag with the information on their sign-up sheet to reunite everyone.

So far, NMSP says it has tagged around 750 kids, but it would like to see a lot more people stopping by their Command Post. It’s located south of the main stage across from the KOB 4 set.
