ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Another person visiting Albuquerque left with a horrible impression of the city because thieves took off with their truck

The victim, Mariana Chanchez from El Paso, Texas, stayed at the Hawthorne Suites on Gibson while she volunteered for an event. She said she accidentally left her keys near a computer in the lobby Thursday night.

As seen on surveillance video, a guy grabbed them and flashed a big smile for the camera. An outside security camera then caught someone getting in the truck and driving away.

"We were shocked," Chanchez said. "At first we really didn't think it was true, we kind of ran around the whole parking lot just to make sure we haven't parked anywhere else and forgotten, and then we just felt in despair. We didn't know how we were going to get home."

Chanchez was able to get a rental car and headed home to El Paso. She has shared the videos on social media, hoping someone can help catch this guy and find her truck.

It's a gray 2015 Ford F-150 with Texas plates. Call police at (505) 242-COPS if you can help.
