ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A woman who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries early Tuesday morning after police say she was possibly intentionally hit by a car has died.

Albuquerque Police Department officials said they were dispatched to the area of Pennsylvania and Haines shortly after 3 a.m., but the victim couldn't be found when they got there.

Police learned the victim was taken to the hospital to be treated, officials say, and they were later able to identify a nearby house where the incident began.

Garcia has a long criminal history dating back about 20 years that includes a number of burglary and theft charges. If you know where Garcia might be, call Crime Stoppers at (505) 843-STOP.
