APD searching for 'armed and dangerous' suspect in east Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque Police officials say they are looking for a man in the Foothills area of the city who has been involved in multiple SWAT callouts, and should be considered armed and dangerous.
APD says officers engaged in a foot pursuit with the "wanted individual" in the area of Lomas and Tramway Saturday evening, but have not yet caught him. His identity has not been released by authorities.
Nearby residents are being urged by police to shelter in place until the situation is resolved.
