Convicted cop killer sentenced to 21 years on other charges Web Staff

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- More prison time has been added for convicted cop killer Andrew Romero.


Romero was given 21 more years for three felony counts of robbery, two of them armed. Those robberies happened after he shot and killed Rio Rancho police officer Gregg Benner on Memorial Day of 2015.

For that shooting, he received a life sentence plus 60 years.
