Events offer convenient ways to shop local

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- When shopping for a family member or friend who has it all, it makes sense to shop local. New Mexico stores offer Land of Enchantment-inspired gifts that will treat locals and surprise out-of-towners.
This week, New Mexicans have the chance to find many of those vendors at once. Nob Hill businesses are holding their Nob Hill Shop & Stroll event today from 5 to 10 p.m. It will offer plenty of ways to shop, but will also have fun activities including music and circus performances.
This weekend, the Holiday Market at the Rail Yards takes place from noon to 4 p.m. on Dec. 9-10. To learn more about that event, visit DownTownGrowers.org.
