ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - This weekend, families can make last-minute holiday gifts or decorations at the Dovetail Community Workshop’s “Make and Take” Event.

For a $10 flat fee per gift, kids 6 and up and adults can learn to make gifts that fill their skill levels.

“We'll have some easy tools, safety equipment and people can come in and get creative with us for the holidays,” said Dovetail Community Workshop founder Erin O’Donnell.

The event runs from 11am-4pm on Saturday, December 16. It’s a “drop in” type event, so participants can come whenever is convenient, learn how to make a gift, and take their time to decorate it. The event will take place at the FreeRange Space near Central and University.
