ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Investigators are still piecing together what happened in a fatal crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle in northeast Albuquerque Monday night.

Police have yet to identify the motorcyclist who died in the crash. APD Public Information Officer Simon Drobik said Tuesday they believe the vehicle ran a red light at Indian School and Louisiana around 9:15 p.m. Monday.

It has not been determined if charges will be filed.

The crash forced the intersection to close for several hours. As of Tuesday afternoon, police were still reconstructing the scene.

In a separate crash earlier Monday night, Drobik said a rollover on southbound I-25 at Comanche was not a fatal crash. However, police shut down the highway so the area could be cleared of debris.
