ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- It was a little more than a month ago when police say a "gun battle" erupted over stolen drugs in northeast Albuquerque. One man got shot in the chest and a young girl got hurt by shattered glass.

On Tuesday, police released the lapel cam video from the Aug. 8 incident when they say two men started shooting each other near Carlisle and Montgomery, putting hundreds of innocent people in danger.

In the video, police arrest the two suspects in this case, Ja’Karl Jenkins and Andre Robinson. They found Robinson by the car they were allegedly in and Jenkins was discovered on the roof of an apartment complex building.

An SUV with shattered glass and a car with a bullet stuck near the door is shown in various APD lapel cameras.
