Local nurse admits to stealing 4,000 pills Web Staff

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A local hospice nurse who was supposed to be caring for patients in their final days has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges.


According to the Department of Justice, Desiree Ulibarri admitted to stealing almost 4,000 Oxycodone pills meant for her dying patients.

Ulibarri could face up to four years in prison. A date for her sentencing has not been set.
