Pet food supply store donates to food banks, rescue groups

Long Leash on Life, a pet food and supply store on Montgomery and Eubank, donated $150,000 pounds of pet food to local pet food banks and rescue organizations.

Thirty-four different groups are benefiting from the donation.

"It's hours and hours of labor to fill our food bank for just a week’s time,” Vince Mouser with Animal Human NM said. “So now with this behind us, we won't have to put those kinds of hours and dedication into it. It's a time favor. It's a labor of love. We just appreciate it."
