According to Albuquerque Police Department spokesperson Celina Espinoza, a 911 call came in reporting an injured man was in the Bosque north of Central Avenue. When officers found the man standing in front of a tree, he appeared to be confused but was not bleeding from the hands, Espinoza said. His hands were next to his shoulders, she said.

Officers removed him from the tree, and he was taken to a hospital. Espinoza said police are trying to interview him and learn what happened, but he did not initially cooperate.

Police consider this an open and active investigation. Call (505) 242-COPS or (505) 843-STOP with any information on the case.
