ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – In a letter to the company’s president, New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas said he plans to investigate Pulte Homes after “numerous complaints” have been submitted to his office surrounding an alleged lack of accountability when it comes to home repairs on warrantied items.

The letter also states the complaints express “serious concern about the general quality of construction and workmanship on homes being sold by Pulte and its affiliates.”

Balderas states that if there is any weight to the allegations, the Atlanta-based company could be violating the law. He adds that he hopes Pulte is willing to cooperate with the investigation.
