According to NMSP, they found Gustavo Alvarado hiding in a relative's home in Las Cruces and arrested him on a probation violation and a traffic warrant. They had been looking for him since Thursday when they say he left the Albuquerque Boys Reintegration Center.

Alvarado was being housed at the center for a previous violent felony conviction as a juvenile.
