Another NMSP officer nets 100th DWI arrest of 2017

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- A second New Mexico State Police officer has made his 100th DWI arrest in 2017, a department spokesperson said Tuesday.

NMSP officer Raymundo Lujan II reached the milestone on Sept. 23. Lujan II has more than 160 DWI arrests since he became a full-time member of the unit in April 2016.

"The dedication of Officer Lujan is outstanding and inspirational not only to his peers and supervisors but the community as a whole," Chief Pete Kassetas said.
