When University of New Mexico students begin their education, they often focus on in-classroom studies. But creators of the new online community "Lobo Life" hope to get them off campus and hooked on exploring New Mexico.

"There's really a lot to explore, a lot to discover," says Lobo Life photographer Josh Lane.

Lane comes to UNM from out of state, and finds that his experience at the school is significantly enriched by prioritizing adventures and documenting them for others to find on the Lobo Life site and Instagram.

"It's for current students, it’s for incoming students, it’s for students like myself who are out of state and have no idea what to expect," Lane said.

Visit lobolife.unm.edu or Instagram.com/thelobolife to check out some of the experiences students have had, and to get some ideas on how to enjoy life in New Mexico.
