Organs of boy who died in April crash used to save lives Web Staff

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Balloons were released Monday in memory of a young boy who tragic death has gone on to save lives.


6-year-old Joel Anthony lost his life in a crash in April. He was riding with his mother when they collided with an APD officer.

Monday would have been Joel’s seventh birthday. His family said his organs were donated, and have been used in four life-saving transplants.
