Overnight SWAT activity yields no suspect Web Staff

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – An early Tuesday morning SWAT deployment did not produce the suspect police were searching for.


Albuquerque police department spokesperson Tanner Tixier said officers were sent around 10:30 p.m. Monday to an apartment complex in the 12700 block of Dunes SE, near Western Skies Drive and Central Avenue in response to a domestic violence call.

The SWAT team was called out to bring in the male suspect, but after about three hours, officers went in and he was nowhere to be found.

Tixier said detectives will conduct a follow-up investigation to secure an arrest warrant.
