PARCC testing begins across New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Kids across New Mexico will be taking part in PARCC testing this week.

PARCC, or Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers, is used by the state’s education department to help ensure that every child is prepared for success in their future educational endeavors.

PARCC is an annual assessment, of mathematics and language arts, that the PED calls an “essential part of measuring and supporting students’ academic growth.”
