ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- After blow-drying, clipping and cleaning all day, it's nice to have a person who can brighten your afternoon without saying much at all.

For Nicole Romero and the girls at Great Clips in Ventana Ranch, that person is Mike Stubblefield. They say he's a customer who's become family sometime during the 10 years he spent sitting in their chairs.

"He is just a sweet, very kind-hearted man," Romero said. "Very soft-spoken, knows every one of us by name, even if they've never cut his hair before."

So it was personal when Stubblefield was shot in the groin during an Oct. 6 armed robbery.

Stubblefield meant so much to them that they wanted to Pay It 4ward to him. Watch the video above to see the full story.
