ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque Police officials say they are still working to figure out what led to an individual being discovered dead following reports of gunshots in southeast Albuquerque Wednesday night.

Family members identified the victim as 20-year-old Tobias Michael Perez. Perez's aunt said his family has an idea who the shooter is, and had a message for them.

"You will be caught," Leticia Williams said. "One way or another, they will catch you. And I'll make sure and my family will make sure of it."

Perez leaves behind a 4-year-old daughter, family members say.

Police have yet to release any more details on the incident or the suspect.

This is a developing story. Check back with for updates.
