ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Police say a man kidnapped his ex-girlfriend Thursday after she refused to take him to buy drugs.

They reportedly ended up at a northeast Albuquerque home. According to court documents, Daniel Drake held her hostage, during which time he raped her and forced her to take drugs.

Police say the victim escaped when Drake passed out after using drugs. He is facing multiple charges, including kidnapping.

Drake refused to see a judge Saturday morning, and will be expected back in court Monday.
