ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Three men are behind bars as Sandoval County deputies investigate two separate murders.

Deputies accuse Jacob and Charles Johnson of killing their uncle, Donald Kalma. The Johnson brothers are from Bernalillo. Police say they dumped Kalma's body near the Mariposa subdivision in Rio Rancho.

Deputies also arrested 72-year-old Thomas Goodridge in a different case. Deputies say he used a rock to beat his wife to death as she slept in their Placitas home, then he called dispatch and reported it.

All three men are in jail tonight.
