ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Another crash in Albuquerque has left another innocent person hurt and police searching for the people responsible who didn't stick around to face the music.

Shattered glass, skid marks and a downed street sign remain after what police say was a hit-and-run crash involving a possible stolen truck in southeast Albuquerque just before 8 a.m. Sunday morning.

The man in the car that was hit did not want to be identified, but says he was just on his way to work. He was traveling south on San Pedro and says the suspects were going west on Southern when the truck hit him.

According to police, two females were in that truck.

But after crashing into the car right on the driver side door, witnesses say the women in the truck immediately ran off. The man who spoke with KOB had to go to the hospital. He said he has some bruising on his side and a possible small fracture on his hip as a result.

Luckily those were just minor injuries, but he has no peace of mind knowing the people responsible are still out there.

Police are still investigating the truck, but confirm the license plate on it comes back as stolen. The two female suspects still have not been found.
