APD searching for suspect after Sunday morning shooting; victim stable

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque Police say they are searching for a suspect after a man was shot on the West Side sometime early Sunday morning.

That victim, who hasn't been identified, is in stable condition, police say. 

SWAT was called to the area of Market and Ladera to assist in apprehending the offender after he ran inside a residence, according to APD Spokesperson Simon Drobik. He has not yet been found.
