APS is looking for more than 200 substitutes to fill in whenever teachers are out sick or in training.

"It's very important that our instruction doesn't skip a beat, that we have teachers in our classrooms every single day, so we're always looking for qualified individuals to serve as subs," said APS Interim Superintendent of Human Resources Antonio Gonzales.

APS is reaching out to upcoming graduates and is already seeking to fill next year's positions.

Today's fair is from 11:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Carlos Rey Elementary in southwest Albuquerque, 1215 Cerrillos Rd. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121.
