APD Public Information Officer Simon Drobik says 42-year-old Adrian Johnson was killed Friday night at the Villa Hermosa apartment complex near Coors and Quail.

Detectives say witnesses told them a man was taking pictures of Johnson’s dead body before police arrived on scene.

Surveillance video shows a light-colored Ford Excursion with plates from Chihuahua, Mexico leaving the area around the time of the shooting.

An investigation is still underway and the search for suspects is ongoing.
