ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A couple Wal-Mart employees will likely need new jobs after they were accused of stealing smart phones from the company’s Eubank location.

Police say Jennifer Pena used her employee key  to steal a Samsung Galaxy and an iPhone from the electronics section early Monday morning, with her boyfriend – Joel Romero, also a Wal-Mart employee – acting as lookout.

Altogether, the stolen phones are worth more than $1,000.

Police say that when they arrested Pena, crystal meth was found on her person.

She has since been released from jail.
