ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Police say one woman really wanted to stay behind bars.

Officers claim they were transporting Renee "Patches" Chavez to be released from the Bernalillo County jail when she got really upset. Investigators say she held the patrol car door shut when they tried to open it, and then kicked it into the officer causing him to fall. He hit his head and even lost consciousness.

Chavez was taken back to jail and is being held without bond on a charge of battery on a police officer.
