Woman previously arrested for identity theft, squatting jailed again

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- A woman with a history of arrests for identity theft and squatting in foreclosed homes is behind bars again.

Police say they found Melissa Willis living inside another foreclosed home in Tijeras Tuesday. According to a criminal complaint, Willis had several items connected with identity theft.

A separate complaint says officers also found more than $20,000 in furniture in that home that was stolen back in January.
