This week's New Mexico GameDay Player of the Week has won several individual state championships and helped his school win a team title this past week as well.

    The University of New Mexico didn’t need a full nine innings to win the Mountain West baseball title on Saturday. The Lobos secured the conference title in seven innings, routing Nevada 14-4 in a run rule-shortened game.

    The New Mexico Games Basketball Tournament is in full swing and the men's open division has drawn the focus in past years. But the best action of the day was taking place in the women's open division.

    After trailing Air Force early, the University of New Mexico rallied back and advanced to the Mountain West title game with a 6-4 victory over the Falcons Friday night.

  • Iowa scores five runs late to beat Isotopes

    The Albuquerque Isotopes allowed five runs in the seventh and eighth innings as the Iowa Cubs surged to a 6-1 win Friday night.
