NM Auditor Hector Balderas to run again in 2010
SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - New Mexico State Auditor Hector Balderas says he will run for re-election next year.
Balderas, a Democrat, is in his first term. He was elected in 2006.
He is a lawyer from Wagon Mound in northern New Mexico.
Balderas was a freshman member of the state House of Representatives when the Democratic Party selected him in 2006 as its general election nominee after the winner of the Democratic primary election withdrew.
