Ruidoso man heads to world karaoke competition

Karaoke phenom Brian Scott
Brian Scott’s love of Karaoke began about a year ago when he met some friends for drinks after work. There was a karaoke machine at the bar and his friends dragged him up on stage to sing.
The bar owners asked Scott to come back for a competition. He did, and eventually took his act on the road.
Scott will compete against people from 40 other countries.
