Solar plant planned for Elephant Butte area

A new solar energy plant is expected to bring dozens of jobs to the Elephant Butte area.
San Francisco-based BP Solar and Energy Novo of New Mexico are leading the project. They say the plant could be operating by next year with up to 100 employees.
The companies hope to serve Spaceport America and other commercial and residential areas.
