Tom Joles explains his black eye

A sinus condition left KOB anchor Tom Joles with what appears to be a black eye last week.
While at first glance it looks like someone slugged the longtime face of KOB, Joles explained that it was actually the result of a medical condition.
Joles spent time in a local emergency room last Tuesday morning and then saw a sinus specialist later in the day.
Doctors say the condition is fine now and should heal. In the meantime Joles says he doesn't want to be a distraction on TV and will continue to work behind the scenes until his eye returns to normal.
