Hats off to former Artesia product Landry Jones who threw a school record 6 touchdowns for Oklahoma over the weekend.  Jones is starting in place of quarterback Sam Bradford who has an injured shoulder.

The Dallas Cowboys gave away their game with the Giants more than New York winning it.  On the flip side, the Jets win said more about New York than it did about New England (even though the New England defense has issues).  And Jeff Reed can accept the blame for the Steelers falling to the Bears.  If he makes a field goal, Pittsburgh likely wins the game.

Is there a more disappointing 1-1 team in the NFL than the San Diego Chargers?

New Mexico is a 9.5 point favorite over NMSU on Saturday.  Huh?!?
