Surveillance video captures burglary suspect

Surveillance image of Los Lunas burglarA video surveillance system at a wireless store captured images of a burglar who made off with $1,000 worth of cell phone equipment earlier this month.
Los Lunas Chief of police Roy Melnick reports the break-in occurred in the early morning hours on September 17 at the Discount Wireless store on Main Street in Los Lunas.
Melnick says the suspect backed a van up to the store, climbed on the van’s roof and smashed out a window to get inside the store.
The suspect is an African American man in his mid to late twenties. Anyone with information can contact the Los Lunas Police Department at (505) 839-3855.
