UNM head football coach Mike Locksley received a reprimand for an altercation involving assistant coach J.B. Gerald.  In a police report, Gerald claims Locksley punched him on September 20^th.  Locksley acknowledged an altercation but does not admit to punching Gerald.  No charges have been filed.

NMSU kicker Kyle Hughes is the WAC Special Teams Player of the Week.  Against UNM, Hughes kicked two field goals over 40+ yard and averaged over 53 yds a punt.

The UNM men's golf team finished sixth at the Ping-Golfweek Preview in Washington.  UNM's James Erckenbeck was tied for tenth individually.
