UNM safety Ian Clark will undergo season ending shoulder surgery. UNM quarterback B.R. Holbrook is still out of action at least another 9 days.  Holbrook is recovering from mononucleosis.  Running back James Wright is questionable for Saturday's game at Texas Tech with a hamstring injury.

Wyoming head football coach Dave Christensen is being treated for a kidney stone.  Wyoming plays Florida Atlantic on Saturday.

Former Carlsbad star Cody Ross missed another game with the Florida Marlins because of a bruised wrist.

The Albuquerque thunderbirds will have the number one overall pick in next month's NBDL draft.
