The UNM volleyball team beat San Diego State in 3 games, 25-19, 25-16, 25-20.
Mayfield volleyball standout Jessica Groen gave a verbal commitment to play at North Carolina State.
Sandia graduate Katie Kempter moves on to the final tournament of LPGA qualifying. Kempter was one of 30 golfers who advanced past the first sectional qualifier in California. The top-20 players after 90 holes of play in Florida this December will earn their full player exemption with the LPGA.
