'Zebras' make sure every launch is safe

One of the most important people in the mass ascension of 550 hot-air-balloons at Balloon Fiesta is the 'zebra,' or launch directors, who make sure each balloon takes off safely.

Veteran 'zebra' Michelle Heeley talks about what the launch director's role is and how the 100 or so volunteers make sure that everyone has a safe and coordinated launch.
