UNM freshman running back Demond Dennis suffered a torn meniscus in the first quarter against Texas Tech. He did not take part in a full workout on Monday and is questionable for Saturday’s game at Wyoming.
UNM middle blocker Ashley Rhoades is the Mountain West Conference Co-Volleyball Player of the Week. Rhoades recorded 26 kills in a pair of wins over San Diego State and Air Force.
The UNM women’s golf team is 3rd after one round of the Windy City Collegiate Classic in Illinois. Individually, Lobo senior Jodi Ewart is tied for fifth at 1-under par.
