Lobo Football Tries To Scratch Oregon Off Schedule

The UNM football program has been talking with the University of Oregon to take one of their future games off the schedule. Right now, the Lobos will travel to Eugene in 2010 and UNM is in discussions about canceling the return trip to Albuquerque in 2012. UNM Senior Associate Athletics Director Tim Cass says "We are in discussions with Oregon to see if there is a better time slot or year for the return game in Albuquerque or if we just play a one-time guarantee game in Oregon." The UNM football program is also talking about playing a home-and-home series with Arizona State in 2014 and 2015.
