Hard Rock is coming to New Mexico.

In a year, the name "Isleta Casino" will be no more, replaced with "Hard Rock Casino."

Isleta Casino just got the ok to become the seventh "Hard Rock" location worldwide.

Along with the name change, the current nightclub and bar is undergoing a "hard rock style" facelift. The hotel rooms will also see some change—it will be out with the floral decorations and in with gold records and other rock-style icons says marketing director Steve Neely.

"The pueblo certainly for several years have been looking for an option to separate themselves from the competition. And one name just kept coming back, you know, that hard rock brand," he said.

Since the casino is on tribal land, they will still be in charge. Yet they now have to pay a franchise fee for the "Hard Rock" name.

A number of new jobs will be available once the transformation is complete—which will be about a year from now.
