Go big or go home! I was told there are more NFL spreads of 9 points or more than in any other week in league history (haven’t been able to verify that, so I’ll assume it’s true). So let’s make four picks on games involving big spreads.
Pittsburgh -14 vs Cleveland (2 trends I usually stick with: Steelers at home and bet against Cleveland. In most cases you will usually win money)
Philadelphia -14 vs Oakland (there is not a spread big enough for me to jump on that train wreck in Oakland)
Green Bay -13.5 vs Detroit (Matt Stafford is dinged up and the Lions haven’t won on the road since 1896)
Jacksonville -9.5 vs St. Louis (I was on the Rams and the points last week and learned my lesson)
