This Year's Lobo Basketball Team

I had a chance to talk with UNM men's basketball coach Steve Alford and the Lobos this week.  Here's what comes to mind when I think of this year's roster...

young,

deep backcourt,

vertically challenged (only 3 players taller than 6'8"),

one senior (Roman Martinez),

no depth or size up front,

young,

no Isaiah Rusher,

and, oh yeah, young.

Don't forget, the Lobo Howl will be at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho tonight.  The event is free and there's no charge for parking, but get there early.
