Did the tourist thing this past weekend and took the family to Carlsbad Caverns. I’ve lived in New Mexico since 1994, but this was my first trip to that national park. It was really cool underground (literally). If you haven’t been there, I highly encourage making the journey south at some point. I also recommend booking the tour rather than just walking around by yourself. You get so much more out of it by having a tour guide.
