Spaceport supply trucks met by protestors

TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, N.M. (AP) - Protesters turned out Monday to voice their opposition to Spaceport America.

The first trucks carrying tons of supplies rumbled through Truth or Consequences.

The spaceport is envisioned as a launching platform for sending people into space.  But on the ground, some feel the trucks carrying gravel to the launch site are putting pedestrians in danger.
