BLOOMFIELD, N.M. (AP) - The Bloomfield school board has ended a two-month dispute by accepting the resignation of Superintendent Randy Allison.

The board voted unanimously Friday night to accept Allison's resignation. Allison took personal leave in August after learning that the board had hired an outside consult to conduct an administrative review regarding board concerns.

In September, the board decided to place Allison on paid leave. School board President Karen Ransom wouldn't elaborate on the board's concerns or the terms of Allison's resignation agreement.

Allison was not present at Friday's meeting, but he has disputed the issues raised during the review. The district hired Allison in April 2006. Before that, he was an assistant principal at Kirtland Central High School.
