FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) - Power crews were dispatched to downed power lines Wednesday after a storm left several inches of snow in west Farmington and Kirtland.

Farmington Electric Utility System director Maude Grantham-Richards believed that tree branches may have fallen on power lines around the area, leading to power outages.

Customers lost power around 7:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Grantham-Richards said she did not know how many homes have lost power.
